Anyone here going to the show?

I'm going! Counting the days..........

Hey guys... im only 16, and i dont think any of my friends got into it as much as i did. Henley was awesome, and i hope sometime i can see the eagles in concert (damn it would have been great to be around in the 70s) i didnt really know much of stevie's but i was definatley diggin' how in touch with the audience she was. She really cared. They do have such different styles, and thats what made it so great. I also did notice that they had great chemistry, they were almost cute together on stage? Anyways, it was ROCKIN.

Don was awesome in Chicago. Stevie was good too as long she was doing her songs. Stevie ruined Hotel California, New York Minute and Boys of Summer. Over all an excellent show.

The show last night was an amazing experience, very different from any Don show I've been to. I love how he took chances with some of his songs...I Put a Spell On You was fantastic! I won't recap the songs...everything was the same but they did do So You Wanna Be a R&R Star. First off, Don looks great, very fit and the new shirts were so handsome on him!! DON GOT NEW CLOTHES...YAY!! sorry...lol
I could not believe he wore cowboy boots either; it was fascinating. ;) He did struggle in spots and appeared to be straining a bit, but the raspiness was well suited to his and Stevie's songs. It was charming to see how much fun he was having with Stevie and her band...Don really does play well with others. :)Circle Dance was the stand out for me; what a beautiful version of a heartbreaking song...I did shed a tear or two. Stevie was in fine form, her voice was terrific. I could do without so many costume changes, but at least Don was following suit. I had seats in the 4th row to the left, but nearly the entire middle of the 4th row was vacant (??) so we moved on over. At one point during Boys of Summer, Don looked our way and stopped and tilted his head, smiling. I thought for a second he may have recognized me; I've been to a few shows. ;) Overall, we had a great time; Don was adorable and Stevie shined. I hope they will do this again someday.

I was at the show Sunday night and I have to say it blew me away. I've been a longtime fan of Don and had seen him with the Eagles 4 times and solo once before Sunday's show. As for Stevie, I've always enjoyed her music but was never really a die-hard fan. I have to say though that Sunday's show gave me even more respect and admiration for both of them. Don was amazing as always. He's my favorite male vocalist of all time without a doubt, but there was something about his performance Sunday night that really took it to a new level. I think it's that he actually seemed somewhat relaxed and not as concerned with note-for-note recreations of the songs. The highlight of the show was definitely seeing these two great talents onstage together and hearing them collaborate. I have to agree with Paula that Stevie kind of ruined Hotel California for me, but I liked her on the rest of Don's songs. And I really really liked hearing Don on Stevie's songs, especially Gold Dust Woman. On a final and somewhat humorous note, at one point when the two were dancing together I leaned over to my dad and commented that this was the most active I'd ever seen Don onstage. He agreed and added, "yeah, you never really see him dancing with Joe Walsh like that."
