We'll be at this show. We have seats in section 105. Anyone else going?

I'll be there, too. I'm in section 201. Can't wait! I would love to meet with any Fastlane/Eagleland folks. It's not often I meet fans as crazed as I am!

My husband and I will be there too! Looking forward to the show. What songs do you think will be in the set list? I have a few that I hope are in there :) One month and 3 days to go!

Whew....just got back to the room after losing our gambling money. We'll post a more lengthy review later, but here are our initial thoughts and impressions:

The show was incredible. The venue is very small and intimate. The people in the front row were practically at Don's feet. Don was in a great mood and in top form. The crowd was really into it....people shouted out just about anything between songs. At one point Don stopped and said, "I didn't know this was an interactive show......let's just talk."

Don shared with everyone his love of cheeseburgers and Velveeta. He said, "If you're going to eat crap you might as well put crap on it." He spoke of his admiration of Ray Charles and even treated us to a few bars of I Can't Stop Loving You. The song Political Science has long been a fave of ours and we were wondering what Don was going to do with it. He was great....the leg kicks were an extra treat!

As for the setlist.....no American Tune or Everybody Knows, but he did end with Desperado. Otherwise it's the same set that's been posted here. The people sitting behind us had the set list printed from this site so if you're reading this....hey! Hope you enjoyed the show! :)

Let's hope for a dry drive to Biloxi tomorrow!!
L&M

Just got back from Tunica, & as my baby grandson says, OH WOW! Before the show we met Lisa & Melissa, Kathy & Dale from Pittsburgh, Kathy from Memphis, & Betty & her hubby. Such a great group of folks. Lisa & Melissa are even sweeter & funnier in person than they are on the website! And so lovely & gracious! I was very impressed. Kathy & Dale had photos of their family with Don from an earlier concert/backstage meeting, which they shared. Kathy from Memphis is one funny, bright, energetic young woman. Betty & her hubby had FRONT ROW CENTER seats! (I'm so envious.) And Betty assured me that I am NOT the oldest Eagles fan on the board. (Sorry if I talked too much, L&M, Kathys, Dale, everyone. I was REALLY excited.)

I can't really improve on what L&M said in their review....I just could not believe Don was so talkative. He was smiling,he was joking,he was kicking his legs...very animated, especially during "Everything is Different Now", singing to people in the front rows. I remarked at one point that he was doing a standup comedy act.WOW! He used Glenn's Dead Sea joke when referring to a song that was written a long time ago. He knew that Shreveport,La, often gets mispronounced as "Shre'sport." His Witchy Woman intro about the flu, Zelda Fitzgerald, & a girl named Patty(whom he met at the Whiskey)who practiced witchcraft was very funny. He said a girl would say "Your back hurts? Come up to my room, I'll fix you up." To which he would reply somewhat dully "Uh,OK."

His voice was a little raspier than usual, but OH when he hit those notes (you know the ones) it was heavenly! Frank Simes & Steuart Smith were great, as was Scott & everyone in the band. No opening act, which was fine with me. A really great small venue, very intimate. He sang for 2 hours, & the Ray Charles tribute "Too Far Gone" with the few bars of "I Can't Stop Loving You" was wonderful. I wished for more of I Can't Stop Loving You, a recording of Political Science (video, with the leg kicks) & Too Far Gone, & for the woman next to me to stop saying "I love You, Don"!

My husband had a great time meeting everyone & loved the show, too. (Just not enough to go to Biloxi tonight.) We met lots of fans who had been at Tunica 2 years ago when Don sang there, & lots who were going on to Biloxi. The lady who sat next to me on the other side(not the I love you, Don one) was from LA, too, & had gone to meet Don at the Linden Wildflower Festival after hearing about it on the Fastlane.

Great show, great fans,go see him if you get a chance. Hubby even said I could do the VIP package next time! I hope there is a next time!
Wish I was in Biloxi now.

Margie, I wish I was in Biloxi too! We got back home from Tunica today after seeing and hearing a wonderful concert last night! Don was just awesome and the band was great!

I had the pleasure of meeting Lisa and Melissa earlier in the day and they are the best! As Margie said they are very sweet!

I really enjoyed the stories that Don had. He told the story of the Sunset Grill and how the owner took pride in his job. There is no doubt in my mind that he LOVES hamburgers but only with veletta cheese - no cheddar:) and it has to the velveeta in the square stick not the presliced velveeta. After the song was over he said "I bet you guys are hungry now."

He mentioned his daughter when introducing "Taking you Home". He said that he wrote this song for his daughter. "She is 8 going on 31. She will be 9 in December and then she be in college and have a car." There was no mention of his son being with him at this show.

I enjoyed hearing him sing (as he called them) other people's songs. I would have loved to hear him sing all of "I can't stop loving you". I have never heard "Political Science" before but it was funny watching Don do the leg kicks. All he needed was the top hat and cane.

My favorite song of the evening was "I Will Not Go Quietly". His voice was amazing on this song plus he swang the mircophone in circles at the beginning of the song...pretty neat!

The crowd was very much into the show and there was alot of interaction by Don and the crowd. There were several shouts of "I Love you, Don" to which he gave his standard "I love you too and what is amazing is we don't even know each other". He seem to be having a great time and so did the band.

If you have the opportunity to see him, then do it! But beware, it can become addictive!

Is there any other Eagles travelling with Don on his casino tour?

We "Oldies" enjoyed meeting several other fans. We enjoyed meeting Lisa, Melissa, and Margie particularly, and hope to get to know everyone better at future Henley concerts. Tunica was a blast, the best concert we've been to. Sorry about our front row center seats--Well, not really.

Oops! Sorry about the name mix-up, Bedal! But yes, it was fun!

Yes. We go by our first names abbreviated--BEtty and DALe. Wish we had more of Don's concerts to go to now. It's such a let-down. But there will be many other opportunities. We've been to three of Don's concerts and three Eagles concerts. This was by far the most dynamic, and Don was more animated and talkative. That made for such a great performance.

None of the other Eagles are on Don's tour. The band is almost the same though...Will Hollis, Scott Crago, Stuart Smith and Michael Thompson (I always forget his last name...hopefully its Thompson). Frank Sims is with them too. He usually is with Don. I don't remember if he ever played with the Eagles. There was one more person but I don't know his name. Don did not introduce the band at Tunica.
