Jim Capaldi, the drummer of Traffic died on Friday. Jim is known in Eagles' circles as a co-writer of Love Will Keep Us Alive. Rock and Roll will feel his loss.

I picked up a CD not too long ago that was a live performance with Dave Mason and Jim Capaldi. They played a lot of old Traffic stuff and a few Dave Mason tunes. Capaldi even sang LWKUA. Other than that rather sad version of that song, the CD is worth having. That is sad news for us old music fans...Traffic was a great band.

I knew I recognized that name in some sort of Eagles connection. Sorry to hear of his passing. His contribution to the Eagles catalog continues to be heard at all Live Eagles shows and has provided all of us another chance to hear Timothy sing lead. RIP Jim.
