Alright, I'm a little late posting on this...BUT...
You did get me again, L & M! I was in a haze when I began reading it on Sunday, and my first thought was, "What the ****?"
Then, of course, I had to laugh at myself...well written, Melissa!
And by the way, Chris, it WAS humorous. I'd even reckon that some of the band members might agree with me. (I am fighting the temptation to say, "Get over it!")

Wow, you really had me worked up... shock and betrayal and disappointment and anger at my environmental hero until i realized you were April fooling us.

Took me half a minute to remember it was April Fools. For thirty seconds, I though these guys resumed their illegal substance smoking habit!

Very funny, good work guys. I really liked the Henley Bush Environmental Commission.

you know what's funny. Until the last article about Henley's duet with Agularia, I actually believed it...proving once again just how gullable I am.

Yes, all of the stories are by us.....specifically Melissa. She had way too much free time on Friday.

I've read that one about the Milwaukee Bucks before though. If you wrote it L&M, full credit to you.

Good one L&M! You really had me going for a while there. I was thinking, "What, has the whole world, including the Eagles gone wacko or something?" Loved the prank.

Joycie: Don owns the rights to the songs you mentioned that have been covered over the past few years. However, you do not need an artist's permission to remake one of their songs (although it is very common to ask). Don is not 'selling' these songs to them to remake, but he does collect royalties from them.

Yah some chick.....what was her last name ...oh yah Presley...her version does suck though. Maybe her mind isn't all there yet after being married to Wacko Jacko. Also, the Backstreet boys do a cover of Lyin Eyes during their current bar tour

I've searched high and low on e-bay and I'll be damned if I can find that Timmy handbag! I wonder if it was crocheted? ;)

Right, Don was clearing brush at the Bush ranch using his tiny tikes shovel and bucket.

Very funny...This was the only April fool's day I saw today. I think this tradition of pranks and practical jokes is dying. A pity...

Who are you people ???? What are you a bunch of Bubble Headed Bleech Blonds ??? Give it a rest. April Fools. You did this a few years ago and it wasn't funny then. I don't think the members of the band would find this humourous. I certainly don't. Grow up !!!!!!

Ok, a bit off topic, but if anyone knows this would help me understan a bit better. Why are remakes of Henleys songs coming out. Some band re-did Boys of Summer a few years back, and jsut the other day I saw some chick on a VH-1 video doing dirty laundry. Who owns the rights to these songs, or is he really selling them for people to re-do???? (...not a happy fan...)
