We just got finished watching the news and processing everything that has gone on for the past few days and our hearts are breaking. We have so many good memories of New Orleans and Biloxi. A large group of fans spent a great couple of days when the band played there in 2002. We stayed in a great hotel on the beach and ate at a ocean-side seafood restaurant...both of which we are guessing are now gone. We've seen the Eagles at the Superdome and have loved spending time in New Orleans. We had a fan-gathering in New Orleans a long time ago. It's just so sad.

If you are from any of the affected areas, please check in. There are several of you we are thinking about.

If you want to help, please visit the Red Cross and make a donation. Alongside of the human toll, there is also the toll on animals. Noah's Wish is a great organization you may want to check out as well.

If you know of an Eaglesfan who has been affected, please let us know. We'll make sure the greater fan community hears about them...if only just to send up some prayers.

Felder Steps Up

Thanks to Joe B. who let us know that Don Felder will be hosting the annual Howard Keel golf tournament in the UK. Don is taking over after the death of Mr. Keel last year. We would, of course, love reports and photos from all who attend. Additional information is available on the newish Felderfans site. We've got photos and video of Don from previous tournaments.

Tour Updates

Odds n Ends

The 3rd and final installment of XM Radio's On the Bird special will air tomorrow. We won't be able to tape this one so if someone can, that would be great.

Message Board and Chat

Excuse our poor Spanish....we studied French.  As Joe mentioned in his chat a few weeks ago, the Eagles are indeed going south of the border. Here are the dates:
November 4 -- Monterrey
November 6 & 7 -- Mexico City

Another New Date

The band has added 11/16 in San Diego to their list of dates. Now there is a BIG gap between the last L.A. show on the 22nd of October and this new date. Speculate as you see fit.....

Tour Updates

The reviews have been coming in and it seems like the band is playing better than ever. Check out the 2005 TourBlog for the latest (including some photos!). Thanks to Melody and IndieGem for the heads-up on a couple of local newspaper reviews.

The band has also added a date! October 19th in Sacramento! People who have attended ILAA events have reported that when they asked if there would be more dates they were told YES!
