Kiss the James Gang Deadly
As many of you know, the James Gang is reforming and touring this summer. According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, though, the Gang will be a little different:
Joining former Eagle, Joe Walsh, Jim Fox and Dale Peters will be chick-rocker Lita Ford (former Runaway). Walsh claims Ms. Ford was added because he got used to being in a quartet and wanted to add some fresh blood to the show. "Lita seemed like a perfect fit...except she's a girl...but that will be okay." said Walsh at a press conference announcing the tour and the addition of Ford. "Her songs have a real hard edge and I think they're real cool". He added, "I'm having a blast at rehearsals playing these raw tunes. I love him a lot, but could you imagine Don (former Eagle, Don Henley) singing harmony on, 'Went to a party last Saturday Night/Didn't Get Laid/Got in a Fight'? That would be a 'big thing'", added Walsh referring to Ford's top-selling hit, 'Kiss Me Deadly'. That song will make an appearance in the James Gang set. "I'm also going to sing Ozzy's part on 'Close My Eyes Forever'. That will be cool, but I'm not going to bite the head off a bat!" joked Walsh.
Funny they didn't mention that Joe and Lita have worked together before on the Robocop soundtrack.

Yep, sure hope they perform "Future to this life".

Well shoot, if Joe and the James Gang were looking for a female singer/guitarist in her 40's, why didn't they call me? Dang, just can't catch a break, lol.

Cool for Joe! But 'former' Eagle Don Henley? I didn't any of them were "former" anymore! Lol
