Podcasts?

We've been learning a lot about podcasts in education (just went to a session on Garage Band this morning) and were wondering if this was something people here would be interested in? Would you be interested in being able to download a podcast about the Eagles? If so, what would you want in it? News? Commentary? History?

Would you want to be able to call in and give your own comments on a song or album or Eagle?

It's kind of exciting to think about all of the nifty technology that is out there and if this is something the community is interested in, we're happy to give it a try.

Thanks so very much for your informations. Well, there are no Walmart-Outlets in Switzerland. But i pay my daily visit on the Walmart-Website. It's a strange situation. They send newsletters to me, but are not in the mood to send CDs to Switzerland. So let's hope for the October, 30th, 2007 not 2008, 2009... Greetings from Switzerland - Viktor

The information came from a music display inside of a WalMart store. There was a picture of the Eagles with wording anouncing the "first studio album in 25 years" coming soon, exclusively at WalMart. I have not seen the cd listed in future releases on the WalMart web site, but that would be a good thing to keep an eye on.

Podcasts are another great way of getting out the information. Has anyone seen the in-store promotion at WalMart for the new Eagles studio cd "coming soon". I think it's interesting that they are starting to promote the release in-store.

I'd love a podcast - either all the news that comes out daily/weekly etc, or snippets of songs, video etc. from recent shows and historic ones as well. If the podcasts could build up the ultimate collection of Eagles material and memorabilia, that would be awesome!
