Y'all have been really great about sending in your photos. I have even more in my email box that I need to download and then upload, but for now, enjoy the ones that Sylvia uploaded to Flickr for us.
Hi guys, I saw the band on the night in question (actually I believe it was the 26th). There was one song I really like, though I'm not sure of the name, could anyone help me??
The prelude to the track was Joe Walsh and Glenn Frey having a small guitar duel, and then broke in to the intro. Any help would be FANTASTIC, and sorry for this odd and totally unspecific request.
I don't like the suits at all. Much too 'corporate' for my tastes, but heck, I guess that's where the band sits these days. They've sure come a long way (appearance-wise) since the 1970's!
Great pics! I have to agree with eaglefan, though. Lose the suits! I want them to sound AND look good. The suits (matching no less?) just don't - well - suit them. Don, bring back your plaid and black jeans! I think they've lost their unique personalities by dressing the same. Regardless, I'll still enjoy seeing them if they stick to the suits. I'll get over it.
Thanks for all your nice comments about these pictures. I'm so glad you like them. Jeff, I'm sorry, I can't remember what caused them laughing at that moment…
I'd just like to mention that I’m really happy to have been fortunate enough to see this show twice – like L&M I bought the ticket for Saturday three days before and got front row! This gave me the great opportunity to once get the overall view which was unbelievably beautiful due to their great lights and screens and then of course to experience it from really close, where I could see their facial expressions much better. To pick a favorite of the two shows is just not possible for me. I do believe though that this production is my favorite of all of the ones I’ve seen so far since 1996.
Excellent pics. Best I have seen yet. Thanks for uploading these Sylvia!!!! I just wanted to ask Sylvia ( or anyone else who might have been there on those nights) about the pic where they are sitting down and playing the acoustics and Glenn, Tim and Joe seem to be getting ready to bust out laughing. What was that about? Those pics show just how much fun these guys are having.
I think they all look pretty yummy in the suits! Especially Glenn :o) Don and Joe did look a little cushy in one of the pics but who doesn't love a little pudge in the right places? I'm thinking about making my hubbie go get a white shirt and black tie like it! Yum!
Thanks so much for sharing the photos! The one posted above is priceless! I love the expressions on their faces, and the various states of disarray of their outfits. Looks like they had a rockin' good time at the concert too! And I love the loosened ties! I agree that they can wear whatever they want. It is secondary to the way they sound and perform in my book!!!
"inner Mr. Blackwell"....ROFL!! Good one, MizB! As I've said before, for all you suit haters....wait until after the break when they take the jackets off. You might not hate the suits so much then. :)
Concentrate on the aural aspects of the concerts folks, and try not to let your inner Mr. Blackwell deprive you of enjoying the shows you attend. Suits, jeans, or gowns, does it really matter?
Sylvia, thanks for sharing your pics, they are fantastic.
As for the suits ... I rather go with that outfit and have the great sounds and arrangements the Eagles are presenting today than have them wear jeans and plaid but using slobby arrangements and a crappy sound. Welcome to today ;-)
These photos are absolutely fantastic - I was at the O2 last night but was too far away from the stage to see the guys properly never mind get any decent photos. Thank you so much for sharing them.
Thanks for sharing all the great photos.
I still think they need to loose the suits. They look so out of place on the guys. Even after they take off the Coats they look wrinkled and ????? I do not have the right words to express how sad they look. Look at the one with Joe and Don here. Don is so handsome and fit and here he looks so fat and un Eagle.
This is America's Greatest Rock Band and they look like they are doing everything they once said they would never do.If you were there from the start you know what I mean.Loose the suits guys. Remember how Glenn tried to express what/who the Eagles were going to be and are? "WE ARE THE F-ING EAGLES "
I love my guys but the suits have to go please. As bad as the plaid shirt looked I had rather have it than the suits.
I know this will make everyone mad at me but I have this habit of telling it like I see and feel it.So please grant me that right.
You guys are doing such a great job and the pictures and reviews are great. L&M I really enjoyed the review you recored.
Peace, Diane
Otto, I have a ton of Steuart pics from the Henley 2007 tour when they stopped by the Borgata in Atlantic City. Not quite LROOE, but they do capture Steuart doing what he does best.
Henry...the song that starts with the little guitar battle is Funk #49

Look at Timothy's shirt hanging out--it's so obvious in EVERY pic that the "uniforms" weren't his idea. Looks so uncomfortable--poor guy!

As on many photos, given the acclaim he is credited for by Don on the L R O O E album, Steuart is sadly missing from many pics. IMHO
