Moncton Confirmed for August 2nd

Thanks to everyone who sent this in / posted it. We've been waiting for official confirmation of this date and now we have it. Looks like a great lineup!

Be part of music history - one night only - Saturday, August 2, 2008 with VERY special guests...JOHN FOGERTY, KT TUNSTALL AND SAM ROBERTS BAND!!

Tickets will go on sale Friday, April 11th at 10 am from all Sobey's locations, Moncton Coliseum website or charge by phone at 1-888-720-5600!

General admission tickets can be purchased for $109.50 plus taxes and service charges. Ticket prices will increase to $124.50 after the early bird date of April 14th.

VIP tickets will be limited and will be reserved grandstand seats for $249 plus taxes and service charges.

Are You on LiveJournal?

I've been playing around with LiveJournal and have really enjoyed how it allows you to get to know other people and network with them. I've set up an Eagles community there. If you have a LJ (or want to get one) consider joining the community or at least friending me so that we can work together to create a network of fans. Feed His Fire

Some of Tim's fans have gotten to talking over on Eagleland about how they hope that Timothy wouldn't shut down his website as he said he was thinking about in his most recent diary entry. If you appreciate what Timothy does, you may want to send an email letting him know how much you enjoy his site.

It's All Good

Those of you pumped for the CMT Awards (where the Eagles are nomindated for the Wide Open Country Video Award) have a little more to get excited about.

CMT One Country is the pro-social initiative of CMT and they want to reward you for getting involved. If you head to their website and register to volunteer in your community, you'll be entered for a chance to win seats on the red carpet. We've been told that Joe and Tim will be attending the ceremony.

Additionally, CMT One Country will donate $2500 to the charities of those who win CMT awards on April 14th (The Eagles have selected the Walden Woods Project as their charity of choice). That's yet another reason to go and vote for the Eagles to win!

Virginia is for Eagles

The Eagles will be in Charlottesville, VA on May 21st, playing at the John Paul Jones Arena on the University of VA campus.  Tickets go on sale next Friday (April 4th) at 10 AM. Tickets range in price from $65 to $150. ILAA packages are $495 and $295.  If you're interested, here's the press release. Thanks Melanie for the heads up on this.
