London!!!!
What an amazing show!!!! When you get to see this show (and rest assured, you will...this tour is gonna be huge) you will be blown away by the new production. New stage. New screens. New Lights. Just wow! This is not the Farewell I Tour. The new songs were amazing. Long Road Out of Eden, No More Walks in the Wood and Waiting in the Weeds were as hauntingly exquisite as you can imagine, but the real stand-out in terms of just pure rocking out was Somebody. Totally different live. Wow. Wow. Wow.
We're tired, jet lagged, cold and sore so instead of trying to type up a detailed review, we kind of just babbled into a microphone. We're sure we sound derranged, but I think we did a better job of remembering things than if we tried to write a proper review at this point. So...download our audio review of the Easter Sunday show.

Great Audio review of an amazingly produced music event, I was also @ the Sunday concert and did my ears deceive me or during the guitar battle between Glenn and Joe did they break into one of Glenn's solo songs ?

I thoroughly enjoyed the Podcast. Making it when your memories were fresh, the last cords still echoing in memory made it all the more of an event to hear.
Thank you for the details you unfailingly capture and share with us.

I just want to Thank You both for the play by play coverage of the show. You decribed it all so well that it felt like for a moment that I was there..This means so much to Eagles Fans that have never been able to see a show. You both have great voices for radio! You should do that every chance you get! Keep up the good work Lisa and Melissa. We are lucky to have you!

I was at the Saturday show and I can concurr that it was absolutely fantastic and so enthralling. It was the first time I had ever seen them and I was mightly impressed. I also had a seat in the centre in the 5th row wasn't quite clear what the seat number meant at first and so was absolutely delighted) and it was an amazing experience. I'm from Glasgow and so not as far travelled as some and did have a few things arranged but this was undoubtably highlight. Well worth the ticket price! I did enjoy their music the first time and I was 14 when they slit up but appreciate them far more now. LROOE is impressive but so is their back catalogue and many people wanted to hear the old hits too and obviously it must have difficult deciding just what to include. There was some songs such as The Sad Cafe and The last Resort which are great favourites which I would have liked to have heard but I was very satisfied at a great night.

I was at the Saturday concert, and it was just amazing. The sound was fantastic, and I was in heaven for three hours and 10 minutes! My seat was just in front of the stage, in center, so I was close enough to see their faces and all their expressions. It was great to see that they were all in a good mood, smiling and having fun. The new songs were perfect and wonderful live, and so was the old songs as always. I took some great photos as well, with great results. I will remember these hours forever! Will absolutely go to another concert when they return to Europe for the rest of their tour!

Went to show at the O2 on Saturday (anniversary present from our children!) Absolutely fantastic. Great to hear the new tracks and the old. The vocals and harmonies cannot be bettered, they are just perfect. Wonderful, wonderful evening.

I planned to attend to Easter show, but I wasn't lucky to find the right tickets in the early days, so I changed my 'agenda', then a couple of days earlier I knew about new available tickets, excellent tickets, but at that moment the trip in London became impossible.
What a mess, I hope to have the chance to see them again next year...
I love Somebody, I'm no surprised by the great impact of this song

The suits are friggin' great, and I hope they do that all the way through the tour. It's another twist on the Eagles' own definition of cool!

Fantastic reviews! That should be worthy of a Pulizter Prize or something. Thanks so much...I loved the detail...especially in regards to instrumental detail. Time very well spent in my book; thank you.

Thanks ladies, what a fantastic idea to do an audio review, I really enjoyed it and made it to the end! I was at the show on Sunday and totally agree with your observations. I for one never thought they would do ‘Somebody’, mainly because I love it so much - but they did and it was awesome. A fantastic show, very tight and very well thought out. The only thing I didn’t really care for was the suits – thought they looked like they had just come from a funeral and for me, it made them look a little stiff and too serious. But that’s maybe just me? So if you have any doubts about seeing the LROOE show, don't - just do it and treasure the memory after (cos’ you surely will). I’m now trying to work out how I can see them again!
Thanks again and a safe trip home.

I tried to listen to your review, and it buffers for a minute, plays for a few seconds, buffers for a minute, plays for a few seconds, etc. It is difficult listening to the recording in tiny pieces at long intervals. Is there any way you can make it play without stopping? Thank you.

Thank you both so much for the audio review. Been a fan for years and I'm going to the O2 show on 26 March - my first time to see the band live. After listening to your comments I can't wait! There have been a couple of negative reviews in the press here, suggesting that too many new songs were included which surprised me but hey, what do they know - the new album is great and these critics should remember that the tour IS called 'LROOE' so what do they expect?!
Having played in a band myself for more years than I care to remember, in which we include several Eagles tunes I appreciate just how good their harmonies are. Long may they continue!

Nice audio review. Answer to question about what Stuart Smith was playing in the middle of Long Road Out OF Eden, he is using a thing called an E-Bow. Makes the string vibrate in a way that can make it sound like a violin. There is also another effect on it, but that is how you get that sound. Sounds like a great show!!!!

Went to the concert last Saturday in London
and it was great. It was amazing to hear some
of the songs from the new album. WITW was so
good and the title song LROOE was fantastic.
I will also go to the April 3 concert in Rotterdam. NMWITW was perfect and it showed
that these guys are still on the top.

saw the saturday show and very slick and alway professional in their performance.
Its a shame that they used so much old material when they had this new album to coose from. Why didnt tim sing "Do Something" instead of one of his old ballads.
I would call the tour Half a road out of Eden.

nifty.
never heard your voices before and it was jarring because you girls live in tx so i was anticipating southern accent then remembered your midwesterners, lol!
i live in london now, we're going on april 5. you are right, it is freaking freezing. saturday was sideways sleet due to gale force winds and easter was snow in the morning and today (easter monday) also snow in the morning, yikes!
so glad to hear about the new material and how well it plays. sorry, not really a solo tbs fan, but the others - especially my fave witw - awesome recap, i am so excited!

Thanks for the audio review! You should do a lot more of this and perhaps even move into video as well!

Great review. Agree the audio was version was very cool. Ya'll have very good voices. You could do that professionally. Nice to hear "Somebody" rocks in concert. Took awhile for that one to grow on me but now its one of my fav's and can't wait to hear it live!
