Don Felder was talking live on Big100.3 -this morning (5/14) to the Washington DC area FM audience.....He mentioned the high-lites of his career, Stephen Stills, Tom Petty and how Bernie urged him on to California.
His interview mentioned the loss of the extended "Eagles Family" and that his attempts to contact the other current members have been ignored.
He was very positive, proud of the Eagles past work and did not criticize anyone...He mentioned that with the supplemental musicians,- the live performances are almost an "Eagles Orchestra"...He seems to have adjusted to his new life and is on good terms with his X, Susan.

Stopped by the Torrance signing at 7:15pm and Don was already gone after signing only 8 copies. Many people were disappointed and I traveled many miles to come down. He should have more respect for his dedicated fans.

I'd love to talk to Don Felder. If anyone meets him on his book tour why don't you ask him the following questions for me:
1. How would you describe the stylistic differences between Joe Walsh and yourself?
2. How would you describe the differences between Glenn Frey and Don Henley with regard to songwriting? Is Glenn Frey in your opinion as gifted as Don Henley as a composer and lyricist?
3. Glenn Frey was obviously important to Don Henley in is early career, but what was Henley's motivation to resume the Eagles-collaboration in 1994?
4. Do you have any plans for a new solo album?
