Save the Date
The Washington Times is reporting the Eagles are in discussions to play at the new Nationals Park in Washington DC on July 26th. Look for an official announcement soon. Thanks Sandy for the heads up!
ETA: The official site is now listing the date. Tickets go on sale May 19th.

Is the Eagles going to the Philippines?

I think its still up in the air, stadium shows are always subject to many variables that can cause the parties to throw up their hands and say forget it, for example, in the DC area Van Halen was supposed to play Orioles Park at Camden yards a few years ago, a date was announced, then it never happened. The Eagles were also mentioned to open the Gillette Stadium outside Boston but those plans fell through as well. In the case of the Nationals Stadium show, the fact that the concert is scheduled during the baseball season is a problem, due to the wear and tear the field would suffer.

Does anyone know if DC fell through? It's not on the official site anymore.

I have it on good authority that the eagles will play churchill downs later this year.

They're on a roll, now we're up to almost an announcement a week! There are still a lot of dates they can fill in, so I cannot wait to see the announcements in the coming weeks.
Thanks for the info Sandy and L&M.
