Getty Images has a few photos of Don at the Clinton Global Initiative meeting last week. Additionally, Joe attended a gala opening for a new exhibition at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Friday. Wire Image has the snaps of that.

Sometimes watching the news pays off.....Tom let us know the Bill Clinton mentioned during an interview with Wolf Blitzer on CNN yesterday that the Eagles would be playing a fundraiser.....well, after some digging around, it turns out Don Henley is the musical entertainment for Bill Clinton's Global Citizen Awards tomorrow night in New York City. That's going to be a great party!
Back to work today after a quick trip to Las Vegas to see Don Henley at the Red Rock Casino. No formal reviews from that show, yet, but we did manage to get a few photos. The Desert Sun in Palm Springs has a great photo gallery and review from Friday's show at Fantasy Springs in Indio.
Don talked to the Palm Springs Desert Sun about his new album projects (yes, that's projects), whether or not he'd write an autobiography and his opinion on the recent BP oil disaster. It's a short interview, but a good one.
Today is Lisa's birthday. She'll be celebrating in style this weekend at the Henley show, but please use the comments below to wish her an awesome day today. She does so much to hold this community together.
Diablo Magazine has a new interview with Don to promote his upcoming appearance at the Wente Vineyard. Don talks about his new solo project, his friendships with Stan Lynch and Mike Campbell and gives one of the best interview answers EVER:
What is most satisfying thing about the ongoing success of
DH: The most satisfying thing about the ongoing success of the band is the ongoing success of the band.
Also, it's surprising to hear Don's answer to the question about the most underrated Eagles' song considering how well regarded his pick is in the fan community.
It's great to see something new. Are you ready for the upcoming Henley shows?
We had to miss out on this because we're on our John Mayer road trip, but Ann (who was at the Henley show at Jazz Aspen with us a few years ago) attended the Party of Two show yesterday. Sounds like a great show. Here's the setlist:
Peaceful Easy Feeling
Ordinary Average Guy
Take It Easy
In The City
You Belong To The City
The Heat Is On
Life's Been Goo
Life In The Fast Lane
Rocky Mountain Way
I Hear You Knocking
Though they didn't allow cameras, when the security guard started taking pictures with his phone, he let those around him to the same. Here are a few shots.
