Sessions at West 54th (1999) Sessions at West 54th did a Tribute to Gram Parsons. It featured Emmylou Harris, Chris Hillman, The Mavericks, Steve Earle, Whiskeytown and others. Bernie Leadon was part of the house band.

Bernie is Not Dead!

It has come to our attention that rumors of Bernie's death have been circulating around the Internet and that this site was the one to confirm them. THIS IS NOT TRUE. Bernie is very much alive and well and this site never confirmed anything.   It appears that this rumor is being stopped on the various Poco and Byrds websites and mailing lists where it started. Various people have spoken to Bernie and he is fine. So, please stop spreading the rumor and please stop e-mailing us to ask why we said Bernie was dead. We didn't. It looks as if someone is trying to get attention for themselves and is using this website and the name of a well-known and respected Poco fan to get it. We wish Bernie well and are sorry that someone felt that they had to do this to him.

Bernie Birthday Battleship

We're still playing around with the trivia/game service and thought we'd use it to help celebrate Bernie's birthday. We've created a battleship game full of Bernie trivia.

You play it just like the board-game Battleship. Click on squares and try to uncover the computer's hidden ships. When you make a hit, you'll have to answer a Bernie trivia question for it to stick. You win when you sink all of the computer's ships. Play fast, though...the computer will be trying to sink you!
