It's Not Actually Don....

It seems that there are several fake Don Henley accounts on social networking sites like MySpace and Twitter. Please be advised that those are not actually Don (even though one claims to be the "real" Don Henley). They are imposters.

The Very Best of Don Henley

We've been getting a lot of emails about the release of Don Henley's newest greatest hits package.  There seems to be some confusion about the release date.  The single CD version was released today to all stores (it's not a Wal-Mart exclusive).  The deluxe edition, with the DVD, comes out next Tuesday, June 23rd.  These dates are only for the US.  The entire package seems to be out in Europe already. Does anyone have it?  Thoughts?  We're waiting to buy the deluxe edition next week and then we'll share our thoughts.

Timothy B. Schmit and Don Henley join John Fogerty for a "Garden Party".

We told you a few weeks ago, that Don and Timothy were guesting on John Fogerty's new album. We now know that the song they provide backing vocals on is a cover of Rick Nelson's "Garden Party". Cool!!! Thanks to everyone who sent that in!

Don Henley Interview Focus Magazine -- 5 New Eagles Songs?

Ulli also sent us this interview with Don Henley from Focus magazine. She provided the translation (thanks, so much!). In the article, Don admits that there are 5 unfinished songs that could form the basis of a new album and that the band members have ideas all the time about new songs. Interesting, huh? Don Henley and Glenn Frey on RTE Radio 1

Tony let us know that RTE Radio 1 in Ireland aired an interview (taped back at the Chicago show) with Don and Glenn. We had difficulty opening it and finally found that Real Player works the best. Our favorite part? Glenn talking about the social networking site, "Spacebook". Look for Programme 9 1st June The Eagles on the page.
