I've spent most of this morning updating our TourBlog. We've got Chicago reviews (and speaking of reviews, haven't the fan reviews we've been getting been so much better than the ones from professional critics?) and a heap of photos (Julie's from Milwaukee, Bob's from St. Louis and Patty's from Little Rock). I've also made it a little easier to find the most recent additions and posted a permanent set list for those who are looking for that.
Speaking of...tomorrow is a big day for ticket sales! Most of the remaining dates go on sale to the general public at 10:00 AM local time. Check back here in the morning and we'll have everything linked up for you. As always, we are so grateful when you use our links to buy tickets (even if you are buying TicketExchange seats).
The Omaha and Kansas City presales start today. Happy ticket hunting!
I've gotten the TourBlog updated with all of the new shows. There's ticket information there (and in our side bar). Remember, we greatly appreciate it if you use our links when you purchase your tickets. If you head over to the TourBlog, though, you'll find a ton of new reviews and articles. Tomorrow, I'll post the photos that people have been sending us. Y'all have been great about posting reviews and sending stuff in. Anyone not able to attend a show, certainly can live vicariously through our site visitors. Have we mentioned that you are the best?
but still of interest to Eagles' Fans.
Joe Vitale has a book out about his adventures in rock and roll. Order it directly from the publisher. (thanks, Michelle).
JD Souther has a new website. If you head there and sign up for his mailing list, you'll get a free download of one of the songs from his new album, "If The World Was You" due out on October 14th. JD is also on tour!
Jackson Browne's new album dropped yesterday. Just listening to the songs on his website, I think I'm going to have to get Time, The Conqueror from iTunes. (though the background image on his website kind of scared me).
Our Milwaukee podcast was long and as I was trying to split it, I messed up the 2nd part of the track. I'll get it fixed and up asap. Here's part 1, though. We're a bit silly (as usual).
We're sitting here at O'Hare waiting for the flight back to Austin and wanted to make sure that you are aware of some things. We're really behind on updating and I hope we can catch up in the next day or so.
I've posted a little about the Milwaukee show over on the message board. (scroll down). People have been leaving great reviews of the St. Louis and Memphis shows on the TourBlog. We recorded a podcast, but it's a long one and I'm going to have to break that down. I hope to have it posted either tonight, or tomorrow night at the latest. Thanks for your patience! I'll also catch up on the TourBlog by posting the newspaper reviews and some photos.
In other news...Paul Carrack told a radio interviewer in the Netherlands that "the Eagles" are all slated to go into the studio on October 23rd to record backing vocals for his version of "I Don't Want To Hear Any More".
Also, American express pre-sales for the new Dallas, Memphis, Washington D.C. and Worcester started today. Head to Ticketmaster to check them out.
So, the shirts we saw last night in Milwuakee didn't have all of the new dates on them. The official site is now listing the following:
11/8 Omaha, NE
11/9 Kansas City, MO
11/13 Springfield, MO
11/18 Cincinnati, OH
11/21 Pittsburgh, PA
So, we need to find out about the Hershey and Philadelphia dates that were also on the shirts. We'll keep you posted!
What a fantastic show! Sure, the Packers lost, but you wouldn't have known that at the Bradley Center on Sunday night. We're going to make a podcast later today on our drive back to Chicago and we'll be posting that along with some reviews when we get back home to Texas.
