Austin Show--Y'all are Invited

As you could probably tell from reading a couple of posts down, we're quite excited about the Henley Austin show. So many people have shown us such great hospitality over the years, that we'd like to return the favor. We're thinking of hosting a little pre-show gathering/house-warming party at our place on the day of the Henley Austin show. We're not sure if a lot of folks are coming in from out of town for this, but we'd love to have you stop by and say hi and have some food. Plus, you'd get to meet Amos and Ike

Let us know if you are interested. We realize that this is late notice and not many people may be coming in to Austin. We'll guage the interest and then let you know what's going down.

Welcome Amos

Many of you have asked about Ike's new brother, Amos. In fact, at the little mini fan gathering in Reno, it seemed as if Amos was famous! We've put some photos of Amos up on Ike's page (from now on, I guess it will be Ike and Amos' page!). Thanks for indulging us!

Welcome Back BB

We're happy to report that BB returned to Austin for the end of the school year. The kids had a great time reading his journal and looking at the photos. Thanks so much to all who participated.

We're probably going to do the same thing next year...but with 2 bears so more places can be visited.

New Fastlane Family Member

We just thought y'all might want to meet the newest member of the Fastlane Family. This is Amos and he'll be coming to live with us and Ike in a week.

Personal Stuff

Just a few personal updates for those of you who care. Some of you have been following the progress of the new house. If you'd like to see how it's shaping up with real furniture, we have some photos up that you can check out.

Today, Ike visited the Weiner Dog Races in Buda (the next small town over). He was too shy to race, but enjoyed checking out the action. If you'd like to see some photos from that, you can head over to Ike's page. If you are interested in Weiner Dog Racing, CBS was at the races filming a piece they will show during their coverage of the Kentucky Derby.
