"The band isn't known for its lyricism" -- and this guy makes a living handing in music reviews? i try to ignore 'the chatter," but you just can't ignore ignorance.
The Eagles were more than I had ever expected. My husband and I went for our 9th anniversary and I can't wait to go back and see them again. We too drove 1.5 hours and I would do it again. They are true musicians and after all these years they are still awesome. They are the only band I know that every song they sing is awesome. They have no bad songs and I can't get enough of their music. Thanks for an awesome show and I hope I can see them again one day. They rocked like they were 30 yrs old.
I'm 56 years old and the Eagles have always been my favorite band.Seeing them for the first time was everything I thought it would be.They were on my "Things to do before I die" list. Thanks for putting on such a great show. The hour and a half drive was well worth it.
