A peaceful easy feeling
The “old men” were laid back, they had fun and we, too.
Matured the Eagles, like me. Nevertheless I felt my heart beating when I arrived at the concert place in the middle of Wiesbaden, the capitol city of Hessse, Germany. On the bowling green in front of the “Kurhaus” (Theatre, Casino, cultural place) was space for 10.000 fans. At 20.45 they appeared on stage and at 22.55 h everything was over. The setlist was the one before. So
I knew what will come after each song. Not bad to know this. It was awesome. Glenn Frey welcomed us in Geman. The heart opener. After the seven bridges road. They had fun one stage, it was not only excellent work, what they did. The “grumpy ol’ man” noted that it is not allowed to film the show, and he sees, that people are doing that and that they should stop. He seemed to be determined, but it could be that the beard caused that. For Timothy B. Schmit and his beautiful long hair Wiesbaden unpacked an extra windmachine, – it was really very windy, but not raining, it cleared up after 6 p.m. even the sun was shining directly in the faced of the Eagles. Joe Walsh was great – he wore a read leather jacket, the rock’n’roller of the band. You could see that the guys had fin, even as Glenn Frey had probs with his guitar on wichy woman. They laughed it away, laid back. Stuart Smith couldn’t convince me in some songs. A guitar doesn’t replace a banjo or mandolin. The drumwork of Don Henley was gorgeous. If it wasn’t so expensive, I would rather like to go to Cologne tomorrow.
So here are some pictures, but I had the wrong cam with me, it didn’t work
porparly with the zoom. Sorry for that
