Joe Walsh on the Radio Today

Joe appeared on two radio shows today. He sat down and talked with Robert Wuhl. They talked about Joe's affinity for sports, his musical influences and his plans for a new album. You can listen to the recording online.

Joe also appeared on "Loose Cannons" with Pat O'Brien, Steve Hartman and Vic "the Brick" Jacobs. They discussed doing the national anthem, playing in front of large crowds, sports (again!) and the Eagles' upcoming trip to Asia.

Eagles Still Soaring -- Joe Walsh Interview from China Daily

Joe sat down with China Daily to discuss the band's first-time appearances in China.

"I'm really excited about going to China. We are running out of places we've never been to, so it's exciting to go to a new place," said the band's guitarist and singer Joe Walsh in an exclusive interview with China Daily after a recent Eagles concert in Melbourne, Australia. "It's like a whole different energy going somewhere for the first time."

Titled after its 2007 album, the Long Road out of Eden concert is set to feature songs from the double CD, as well as Eagles classics like Hotel California, Desperado, and Take It Easy.

"I don't know how familiar Chinese audiences are with the Eagles' music. We may rework the set list a little bit for the concerts in China. Fortunately we have many songs so we can rotate them," Walsh said.

Joe Walsh's Guitar Will Be Made in Downtown Chattanooga

Some folks (Hi, Rich B!) have been wondering about the new odd shaped aqua guitar that Joe has been playing in concert. This reportfrom Chattanooga's WDEF news explains:

Featuring eclectic styling and vibrant colors that provide more than a nod to both retro and futuristic designs, the guitars have garnered an international following with musician Joe Walsh of the Eagles playing his JBD-100 on the group’s present tour.

Imagine No Hunger

Joe Walsh joined brother-in-law Ringo last night in Los Angeles at a star-studded concert benefitting Yoko Ono's Imagine  No Hunger campaign.  Participants performed John Lennon songs, with everyone, including Joe, taking the stage at the end for Give Peace a Chance.  Sounds like a great night!  Thanks Sandy for the heads-up.
