In 1989, in London, England, we attended our first Don Henley concert. We had bought tickets from a broker near Westminster Abbey, knowing only that we kind of liked some of the tracks on End of the Innocence and that the Eagles were kind of cool (interestingly enough, we bought some broker tickets again today to kind of mark the occasion). We took the train to London from our college in Winchester and were blown away by the show we saw that night.
We think of that show as what started it all. What an interesting, exciting, fun-filled trip this has all been. We treasure all of the fans that we've met along the way.
We have plans to mark this anniversary with some things on the site, so stay tuned over the next few weeks.
